Not really... The last 2 episodes are what is taking place inside Shinji's mind and the movie is of what's going on outside of Shinji's mind.

BIG SPOILER BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN

When Seele raids Nerv it pushes Shinji's father to start the Instrumentality project to fuse all human consciousness with him as a God. But Rei betrays the father saying "she isn't his doll" and she fuses with Lilith. Now I'm not entirely sure about what goes on after this part but this is my taking of it all. Supposedly that's what starts the 3rd impact. Eva Unit 01 "awakens" and Rei now gives Shinji the power over life. It was explained before that Angels control life and Humans control wisdom and putting the two together would create God. So Shinji becomes 'God' with Eva Unit 01 and decides the fate of the world, that's where the last 2 episodes of the show kick in. He is battling within his mind on what to do about the world. Then he finally comes to conclusion after much psychological and philosophical talk that it's okay to live. Wa-lah! Him and Asuka wake up on the beach as the only humans on Earth symbolizing Adam & Eve.

Started watching Mirai Nikki. I don't watch much horror anime, so I don't know the standard but so far I'm really enjoying it (that being said I've only just watched episode 2 :P )

loved mirai nikkai once you get over how weak and spineless yuki is

edit:just finished dling end of evangelion so i think ill watch that tonight

Yeah, Yuki is like Kazuya Aoi from Freezing. He's the main character, yet he's a wimp...

Edit: Finished episode 3 of Mirai Nikki... I'm officially creeped out. (In a good way.)

ok..so shinji and asuka are the last 2 humans alive i got that...whats with him choking her?
gave it 8/10 some parts of that were just disturbing to watch...e.g shinji when asuka is in the hospital..dear god

and after a certain point my mind gave up if anyone wants to give me some more detail on what i just watched i would greatly appreciate it

I pretty much gave the whole outline on it, I could go into more detail but that would require a lot of time. If you are really interested you could just google 'Evangelion explained'.

As for why he starts to strangle Asuka... Well, I believe with that whole fit he went through in instrumentality about how he hated everyone/everything, I think he was still frustrated and that's why he took it out on her. But, then once she puts her hand on his cheek he has a realization that he actually doesn't want to kill her.

I just wished they would have gone in more depth of Asuka's and Shinji's relationship. In case you didn't notice, Asuka really does love Shinji and vice versa.

Hi guys, was suggested to watch Tsubasa Chronicle, anyone seen and is it any good?

Yeah, its pretty good. Better if your familiar with existing CLAMP properties (Specifically Cardcaptor Sakura and XXXholic) since the series makes a lot of use of alternate versions of characters from those series (and CCS knowledge does become kind of important at the end) but its still pretty good on its own even if you don't have that, good mixture of action, comedy and drama.

Kind of a difficult anime to get the full experience of with just watching the anime itself though, so if you actually want to finish it (it started to become fillery and then just stopped....) your going to have to read some manga as well.

With the exception of a few episodes, you can watch the anime up to the end of episode 43. After that, you watch the three episode 'Tokyo Revelations' OVA, then read the manga from chapter 136 - chapter 166, then there's a second set of OVA's (shunraiki), then after them you read from chapter 183 until the end of the manga.

The big question is whether they are going to be able to stop people using the PB tracker. Just blocking the website itself is pretty much meaningless, considering all of the various websites that exist to catalog torrents.
