Howdy, Nice to meet you all! I’m Mod Mozza, Tech Support Representative for Jagex. I’m here to help make sure no player is ever prevented from playing RuneScape due to technical issues. No matter the problem big or small the team is always around to provide you with the best solutions to rid you of any technical gremlins stopping you from adventuring around Gielinor! My day to day tasks involve investigating technical problems and making sure we are ready to combat any new issues that crop up. I also act as a connecting point between you and the RuneScape teams. We will always pass over feedback given to us and escalate any player complications which will need to be fixed by other departments. You will often find me hanging around the Tech Forums sporting a very cool red fez hat helping as many players as I can. Every Monday I also write updates to keep you guys in the loop on our latest issues and how we are dealing with them. 3D Modelling takes up a lot of my spare time. I’m also very keen on the social side of life and never miss up any opportunity to meet up with friends and others Mods. On the music side of things I am pretty open to anything but love American bands like You Me at Six and All American Rejects. I also shamefully know all the lyrics to Buffy the Musical and often sing them around the office (mostly to annoy the other Mods in my team). Hi everyone, My name is Mod Raa, and I lead one of the teams responsible for dealing with Account Security here at Jagex. I am a recent addition to the Jagex customer support family, having only been here since February, but I have spent the last 12 years working within the MMO industry. The ultimate task of the security team is to improve account security across all Jagex products, and provide help to players with issues accessing their accounts. The security team are involved in hijacked account investigations, account appeals, phishing site takedowns, account security, account help emails and forum moderation amongst other things. Some of the mods you see posting in the Account Help forums such as Mod's Aug and Fuzzlet are part of my team. MMOs have always been a passion of mine, so I decided to turn my hobby into a career! Hello there ![]() I am not so sure how to write this but I will give it a shot! ![]() Before I start I would like to mention that I love using Smilies, so expect a lot in this post and most of my other posts in the forums. ![]() My name is Mod 'Augsome' Aug, I am Irish, and I am one of the Mods which you may see on the Account Help forums. I have been working for Jagex for close to a year now and I have to admit I LOVE WORKING HERE!!!! ![]() I am part of the security side of Jagex Customer Support which means I am involved with account investgations, Account Appeals and the taking down of those nasty phishing websites which I take great pleasure in doing. ![]() In the past I have been involved with Bug Tracking, working with the Tech team and also with other parts of the company but I really feel I have found my calling, here in the forums, as I am able to be close to the players and do my best to try and help you guys to secure and get your accounts back. ![]() I am a massive fan of Music but not the usual music bandy stuff. I listen to mostly Orchestral music such as Classical, game covers and Epic Choral stuff. This is the type of music which will give me goosebumps and I love that feeling of just pure Augsomeness! I love musicals which I have proudly taken part in many throughout my life such as Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), Evita (Malgaldi) and other panto type stuff which make up some of the best times of my life. ![]() In my outside Jagex time I like to work on many different skills, my favourite thing to do is create music and also developing my skills in Audio software so that I can, hopefully one day, make it into the Audio team. Hey all, I’m mod_mal and I’m the Tech Ops Manager in Player Support. I’ve been with Jagex for almost 5 years and have loved every minute (how cool is it to work for a games company!). I’ve been a part of several teams across Player Support, including Community Safety and Billing Support and in my current role I’ve worked closely with every support team as well as technical teams across the studio. My main responsibility these days is helping to ensure you are all able to login and play RuneScape and if you can’t, trying to help to figure out why! I work with other ops managers and tech teams across Jagex to get answers on technical issues for you guys. When I’m not at Jagex, you’ll generally find me doing one of four things: spending time with my 3 year old little girl, cycling around Cambridgeshire in tight/bright clothing, playing videogames or climbing mountains - Scafell Pike twice last month! Here in the Tech Help Team we work really hard 24/7 on the forums and replying to tech support tickets to help anyone who doesn’t have a great game experience. As you may have seen if you’ve had an issue recently, we’ve really focused on offering you more help in the Tech Support forum over the last couple of months – thanks for all the kind feedback you’ve sent us, it makes us smile and we put it up on our wall . I’ve played pretty much every MMO out there and never found one with as strong a community spirit as RS!The awesome mod_mat, mod_mozza, mod_ollie, mod_hodge and mod_dibs look after you guys in the daytime and evening, and mod_tom_b, mod_djw, mod_twigs and mod_tedoki work tirelessly through the night to help too (we give them cake). Hi Folks, I’m Mod Gunner and I work within the Security team here at Jagex. You probably won’t see me around that much as I am quite shy, but I work in the background taking care of your accounts. ![]() I have been with the company overall for 2 and a half years. I originally started as a student placement but came back last year as I loved it so much! My main job is to investigate any nasty hijackers and help you guys get your accounts back safe and sound. Hey guys I’m Mod Luke T, your local friendly Billing Mod. I’ve been around the Jagex Player Support department for a while doing various roles in Account Help before I moved on over to dispense Billing know-how with the glorious Billing Team, good times. ![]() So here’s something interesting for you, all Crisps go out of date on a Saturday – in the UK anyways. Now that your mind is blown and you’re checking your crisps I’ll continue. My favourite things are music where I am pretty eclectic I suppose - I’m rekindling my love for the Smiths while enjoying a mismatch collection of other bands too from OFWGKTA to San Cisco and Polarsets among others. I also like a bit of cheeky gaming (bit of a CoD fan boy - going to make a YouTube channel and become the most famous person ever..) and taking terrible pictures of things which I think are amazing. ![]() So that’s me, Mod Luke T your humble billing guru and I’ll be happy to answer any of your questions you may have! Hey guys, I’m Mod Mat, currently part of the Tech Help Team in Jagex. My role incorporates a few different areas, with our main focus of providing technical help to our players and getting them back into game as soon as we can. Alongside this I am also the lead for all 8Realms player support and perform out of hours bug tracking for both RuneScape and 8Realms. Before this I was part of ICU, focusing mostly on account hijacking, phishing and copyright. Helping players play the game how they want it to be played is something which I love being a part of, and I am almost always open for a friendly chat . Outside of work I’m a bit of a PC gamer myself, I even have a relatively high level RuneScape account of my own and would love to brag about my skills in various other titles. I’m also still a Student, ready to complete my final year at University, where I am studying a Bachelors degree in Computing. Jagex has been a great place to work to give me a break from all that tireless studying I did beforehand, and I have met some great people along the way, both players and colleagues. Greetings! I'm Mod Fiz ! Howdy ? I’m part of the Billing team (that’s where awesomeness happens!) where I deal with all sorts of things across different languages (Told you, awesomeness)! Here, at Jagex HQ, there is a saying and it goes like this : “ Not to worry, Mod Fiz will Fix it for you “ ! Okay, it sounds better when you say it out loud ! Promise! As you can imagine, I love to help and I always want the best for my fellow players! I’m a player too and I can truly understand how it feels to play a game that you are passionate about. You’ll see me on the forum, or other venues available for you to get in touch with us, and when you do see me, just say ‘Oh, Snap! Everything’s going to be alright’! I love to hear that an issue has been resolved just as much I love Florence and The Machine or a good French Onion soup (Yum!).
