Player was buying abyssal whip for 650k. GE has priced at 576k and I can't buy it from the GE for 650k. No idea what the actual price should be, but the GE price needs to be changed.

^^ lol its called merchanting, ethier jagex is finaly getting rid of bots slowly like should happen ( instead of nukin cuz that messes the entire market up) orrr they are being merchanted cuz of new combat system and whips can be used to fight with str based exp. instead of shared.

those who are posting items here which are going to be greatly affected by the evolution of combat might as well stop. as to my knowledge, and correct me if this has changed, any item in the ge can only rise a maximum of +/- 5% of the grand exchange median price, which works just fine, except for in certain times in which the street price of an item is rising/ falling far more exponentially than that +/- 5% which the ge allows per price update. for example, claws and ags's crashes very hard in a very short time period, and therefore it is not unforseeable that the guide price needs time to catch up to the street price, another example would be whips and bandos gs, the street price of a bgs was over 1m MORE than the guide price for MORE than one day, primarily because of the 5% increase through guide prices, AND the fact that merchanters buy most items that are rising through the ge, and sell it on the street, which further delays the ge guide price. AND items that are crashing via panic sellers in person, and sell via the ge. a suggestion would be to find a street price on an item via observation before buying or selling said item via the ge. with an update as astronomical as the evolution of combat, massive price changes for nearly everything can and should be expected.

The whip will go up in price once the update comes out because I heard you will be able to use strength with the whip so in that case people wont use the saradomin sword and theyll use the whip the cost of the whip might be 4m.

With the future update of being able to Dual Wield, what are the chances of the prices of Single held weapons i.e. Dragon Scimitar - to increase dramatically?

Also, how much of an effect would the update have on the two-handed weapons, such as Godswords.
