On page 5, post 1 (Woodcutting), you mention that for woodcutting and firemaking on the spot, maples are the best. I thought I would test this, and these are my results:
Both tests were run at Daemonheim:
1 hour of maples yielded: ---66,000 total experience (1.1k xp/min) ---28,100 woodcutting experience ---37,900 firemaking experience
1 hour of willows yielded: ---85,000 total experience (1.4k xp/min) ---36,300 woodcutting experience ---48,700 firemaking experience
This was done at level 85 woodcutting. Woodcutting level might affect the total experience, but should not affect the ratio between maples and willows. Willows are clearly faster experience if you want to cut and burn on the spot.
Does anyone know any clan chats where people can ask lots of questions? I remember spaderdabomb's cc was amazingly friendly and helpful, is there anything equivalent today?
Abbem, have you checked the thread what I QFC: ed to you?
Also got a tip on world hopping: Just click to play, when it shows that you need some time to change worlds, just abort login and press play again (quickly). Do so until you have 6 seconds left, then press play and you will go in the game.
It's not big help, but saves you few seconds everytime you hop world.
I ran a timer at the same time as the countdown and did as you suggested, and it was the same amount until just at the end, when I hit abort/play when the clock showed about 8 seconds, and I got in about four seconds later.
