Rap Forever asks: Hi, i have a question which has been bugging me for a while now, will there be any two-player quests in the future?
Yes, we are going to try to do more 2 player quests in the future, just not in the same format as Hero's Quest or Shield of Arrav. (woot first post) |

Slayerx9999 asks: The Eastern lands are a feature heavily hinted at and mentioned by various NPC’s and items within the game. I’m curious as to whether these references are purely there as background story or whether it is intended for them to actually feature within the game in the future?
It is intended for the eastern lands to be released in the future. However, there is lots off other lands we want to create before hand, like Acheron, the Elven city and Menaphos. |

Hello everyone,
Mod Fetzki here to say that I am looking forward to having this session. I have heard that many of you are happy about what is coming, but you are unhappy that things take so long. All I can say: Yes, me too! But rather than rushing updates so that they come out without obvious features or unpolished we want to get it right. Basically, I only want to thank you for your patience. Now let's get to your questions Mod Fetzki |

Camilo101480 asks: A long time ago in runescape was the coordinates north, south, west and east in minimap. Now actually there is only the north coordinate. I don’t know why they were removed and some times people ask me where is east, etc.
1. My question is May you add this feature again? 2. My second question is May you increase the time of the gravestones? I would love to play rs music on guitar, specially the main theme of Runescape. I have been looking for the tab for rs main theme and I’ve failed. 3. Can you add some tabs of rs songs to play it in music instrumentals? 1 - No. We removed this because we felt that the letters cluttered the interface, and "N" works in most languages, unlike S,W and E. Also, if you know where N is, then the others should be simple (As we all know, Naughty Elephants Squirt Water ) 2 - In my opinion, gravestones last for the correct amount of time. 3 - Nice idea! We talked with the music team about doing this not so long ago, so yes, hopefully its something we can indeed do. |

Mugger84 asked:
Why are RuneScape updates seeming to lack the 'bang' they used to? Do you believe it's because you decided to spend a year doing 'upgrades' which in all seriousness, like Aquanites, only really provide a short amount of satisfaction before you're back to doing the same old things? I expected this question because many high-level players seem to agree that we have not provided updates in the quality that we did in the past. Have you ever considered that this could be because back then it was newer for you as a player? We have had some experiments last year, when we went for fewer bigger updates and we realised this wasn't as popular or practical. So now we went back to weekly updates. This transition period was hard but we are through it so expect some nice updates in the near future. |

Vimescarrot asked:
Are monster levels calculated by inputting their stats, or are they chosen by analysing their difficulty? Some back-of-the-envelope calculations showed me that, if calculated the same way as players, Troll Generals' Strength level would be twice that of all their other stats combined! Mod Fetzki: Without being able to check the stats from where I am right now - that might well be possible! Generally, monster levels are calculated the same way as player levels, yes. Vimescarrot: A question someone asked was answered wrongly in the first Q&A, I believe. Someone asked for "RuneScape time". Mod Fetzki responded by saying you wouldn't introduce night and day into RuneScape, but I don't believe that was what was being asked. What would be nice is a time that all players can easily convert to, for organising events (6 PM RuneScape time, for example), so people don't have to go searching in conversion charts to work out when to be there. Any chance you could add such a clock to RuneScape? Mod Fetzki: Indeed I misunderstood - we had discussed what was meant by this. To add a clock: That might well be possible, yes

Lord Pulzar asked:
In the first of the recent series of Q&A, MMG confirmed that high level worlds were in development. If I'm not mistaken though, the original idea was to have "worlds for older players". Has this idea been abandoned in favour of worlds for high level or 'elite' players or are they both in development ? In either case could you elaborate a bit on the requirements a player will have to meet in order to play on these new worlds ? Mod Fetzki: Currently, we are discussing that this only concerns total levels because we don't want to have to verify the ages of the owners but this is something that we might look into in the future. |

Whoite39 asks:
The quest point cape is extremely hard to get and then keep as you keep bringing out quests! Do you plan to ever make a set goal at which you get the quest cape? You recently had an open session with a few people aged 13-18 (on August 1st to be precise). You asked for people to go to Jagex and test Runescape features for you. Could you tell us a bit more about this? E.g. Were they seeing features that were definitely going to be in Runescape or were they features that possibly won't make it into the game? Did they use RuneScape logins? We heard quite a lot in mod mmgs q&a about RuneScape classic. Could you tell us a bit more about this? Will we still use same logins? Will the old RuneScape classic still be up? Will it affect any other games or versions of runescape? 1 - No. The quest cape will continue to work differently than the other capes. 2 - Its what we call a focus test. We invited people in with little or no runescape experience to try out our new tutorial and a few new features. None of it was high level or minigame related at all. We rubn the sessions to get feedback on the new content before we release it. So if we found that it really didnt work, then we would cut it out or rewrite it. The sessions were really helpful and we did make some dramatic changes to the content they saw. 3 - Yay!!!! Wooooo! Classic! (Ah, sorry, I am a bit of a classic fan you see). There will be a news announcement and a blog about classic in the next few days. |

Jeremias920 asked:
I'm a quester, and I'm wondering about future quest release dates, but as I know your scheludes, I'll just ask about release years So, you have hinted towards Myreque, Fairy and Elemental Workshop installments in last two CE letters, and I would be bit reliefed is you could tell what year or month are these being released. Mod Fetzki: Believe me, it was one of the hardest decisions ever when circumstances force you to chose which of these ones was to come first. We went for ... |
