I play with sound off..but some sounds remind me of the old runescape days.


btw i have all songs exept the one in champs challenge cause its impossible to get and the saradomin gwd cause i dont have 70 agility.

Love the music!


However, I really think that there should be other types except the "easy-listening" or "combat".

I mean, JaGeX obviously has skills at making music, why not make something for everyone, some rock type songs, rap, country, electric, whatever, I know it won't sound that good without lyrics but they can do it I know.

I personally would like to hear some trance/hardcore for some new areas where they would have easy listening/combat.

Wow firts pagewell no I personally (sorry) dont like the rs music I find it kind of repetitve and boring maybe with more choices like diferente genres:

Well favorite effect: none cause all are like generic take batlle for example the hits sounds like piu and when something die is like buyyuuuu so none.

Favorite music: I dont use it but the best may be bounty hunter ones.

What changes: as I said new types of music, new sound effects plz please really.

I always have the sounds on, but not always the music. Many times I simply want to play quietly without music, like when I'm skilling or just chatting with friends. I turn on the music when I visit a new area or do quests, just to see what the new music sounds like.

--Have you a favourite sound effect, area sound or piece of music?

I don't have a specific music or sound that I like most. Although jungle troubles and venemous are some I like.

One thing I guess I'll mention is that I actually liked the old RS music (from like 2005), the ones before the huge music update years ago. All the music were updated and 'made it better', but I think that the older ones were better. I actually started to listen to the music less since then. I wish I could listen to some of the older ones (forgot which ones though) that I enjoyed listeneing to while playing RS

And along with this, I think it would be great if the music was made more realistic with more real instruments and sounds. I'm not sure how to explain but if you listen to some other video game music like from nintendo its a lot different then RS (I love many nintendo music like Zelda ). The old ones were kinda like this if I remember correctly

And finally I just want to say keep it up audio team I know many people don't like the music/sounds but others like me do enjoy it so please continue making new music and sounds!

I always play with the music off, but normal sound and area sound on.

Although I do enjoy RS music, I preffer to listen to my own ones

One point I'd like to say is regarding the sound many monsters (and mainly human Npcs) make during combat. Their growl seems really odd to me and I'm pretty sure you could improve that.

Apart from that, I really like the overall sound of Runescape, so good work

Depends. Disabled whenever I want to listen to music, and enabled every other time.

Favorite songs are probably Armageddon, Crystal Sword, Soul Wars, Animal Apogee, and the new Harmony.

Two things:

- Annoying sounds like Dogs barking shouldn't be heard by other players, and they shouldn't be as loud and annoying as they are. Skeletons attacking is also an annoying sound.

- I don't like the new loop thing. It's wierd to be in the desert and then hear music from, say, Karamja.

I play with sound off, I don't listen to anything while I play, most everything I hear is tuned out...

If it was less chipper and annoying I might turn the sound on. Just less noise would make it a lot more tolerable.

I only play with the Attack noises on, so I know if something bad is happening while I'm browsing the forums. <_<

The RS music is fun, but unfortunately, my IPod playlist is better.
