Eassc,
1) Are people in Jagex HQ at all times? 2) Did you read my post in the "Are you player focused thread"? 3) Any way I can know how many hours I have played on my account? And is there a feature going to be added for this soon? Answer: 1) yes - 24/7 and 365 days a year! 2) Not yet, but I will tomorrow 3) I won't tell you...because there will be a feature in the not too distant feature Mod Kelvin |

I want to know if you could stop choosing dead serious player moderators and chose people who the community could actually appreciate. You seem to only choose people who spend their whole life playing your game. Answer: Hey - sounds like you need to cheer up a tad We've already changed the profile of potential Player Moderator - see the Previous Answers Thread in News & Announcements ...on the point about only choosing people who spend their whole life playing our game...surely that's kind of the point - Player Moderators are players who play Mod Kelvin |

There are rumours that the PMods and FMods would get a chance to play the closed beta of MechScape before its release to the rest of the players...so just wanted to confirm is this true? Answer: maybe at some point...but I'm not going to say anything about MechScape tonight, I'm afraid - sorry. Mod Kelvin. |

Clonewars3 asks:
As the Community Mangement team is doing an awesome job with player events, will there be any chance for the f2p community to have regular j-mod events. Myself and my events community are doing all that we can for the f2p awareness topic, and all we can for f2p events. In the future will there ever be J-mod events including the f2p community. Such as clan wars, fist of guthix, great orb project and more. I've seen the FunOrb j-mod clans, and they're awesome! Any details on this topic, as if these "j-mod events" will come to RuneScape, and if so will the f2p community be involved with them too? Answer: We are always interested in organising f2p events. In fact, all our player surgeries are held in world 74, which is a free world. Is hard for us to get involved in events that involve combat, however this would be something cool to do and we are looking ways to make this happen in the future. As for J Mod clans we know that they are really successful in FunOrb and we would love to get something similar going in Runescape. |

1) is there ever a point or a number in which you feel that you have enough volunteer moderators to stop recruiting in such heavy extremes? 2) What is the likelihood of a player getting a dual moderator invite if they haven’t been a moderator before? 3) Do you feel that having a player recommend themselves to being a PMod is a good idea as a lot of individuals can change their approach in order to becoming a PMod and increasing the number of “Wbms” who really are just trying to get a crown more then help out the community. What is your approach to this view and was this actually a plan to see more community topics on forums, regardless of player intentions to help or not? Answer: 1) We want as many fantastic community heroes and pioneers as are in the game and on the forums as possible to be moderators - so there's no upper limit 2) If they're a community minded player adding value to the community on the forums and in game, then there's every chance 3) If someone has no substance to their own recommendation, and are simply a WBM, then they won't be invited. If someone suggests themselves, and they meet the criteria we've spelt out, then we want them! As for the second part of this question - I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories Mod Kelvin. |
