Well... I have a weird question!

Jagex tells us: To fight bots, for now, report!

So some of us started thinking to create a clan, a normal clan with events like any other clan, but with one of the targets to massivly report bots, some sort of "army" against bots.

Is this a good idea?
Anyone has some tips for anything like this?
Or is it a really bad idea?

Please let me know what you guys think of it :)

@Kara, do you mean using this guide as a template so you can make a guide?

Hmm I'd be careful that do not plgarise, which would mean copying and pasting large chunks and paragraphs. There is nothing wrong with making a guide and using ideas from this one though. There's a fine line.

@Extanza, Theres nothing wrong with fighting bots like reporting or killing them in the wildy and so on, but theres more to a clan than fighting bots. If I were you i'd either make a normal clan, who do bot busting events every now as everyone in your clan may not want to repeatley report bots. An idea is to make something in the Events forum where people you can invite everyone with a common goal to report or get rid of bots.

Your Name: Yam42
Clan’s Name: The Regency
Section you are submitting advice for: Leadership
Advice you have for that section:

DON'T undermine your fellow leaders just because you think you can lead better. This (true) story best expresses my point:

Before clans were official, a certain clan had become rather large. The founding members enjoyed minor roleplaying and Player-Owned Cities. The clan called itself a republic, and the head founder was the Duke of Ardounge. The Duke of Varrock essentially desired more power. He arbitrarily declared their republic was an empire, and in a coup-like motion, began to assume more power from the head founder. As a result, the clan suffered a civil war and died. Needless to say, the Duke of Varrock had few friends after that.

Don't attempt to do things yourself just because you think you can do them better. Remember, your fellow leaders are there to help you.

I don't know if this is the right place where this question should go, but I couldn't find anywhere else to ask for it. If it is the wrong place, I'm really sorry, but I don't enter to the forums very much so I'm not sure how to do things. Anyway, my doubt was that I started recently a clan and I'm not sure how it works. The main problem I have is about the xp of the clan itself, I have noticed that the total amount of xp that the clan has is the one that the clanmembers have earned during their clan membership period and not the one that they had before joining the clan, however, what happens when a clan member quits the clan or is kicked from it? Does the earned xp by the member of the clan remain or is it discounted from the total xp that the clan used to have?

I don't know if it was clared what I asked, but to give you an example, if my clan has a total xp of 1.800.000 and a clan member has done 400.000 of that total amount of xp, if the player quits the clan or if I quit him of the clan, does the xp go to 1.400.000 or it remains in 1.800.000?

Thank you very much for your reply and please forgive me if this was the wrong place to post.
